Nirvana Vihara / Reclining Buddha Pagoda (Niet Ban Tinh Xa)
About
Nirvana Vihara is widely regarded as one of the most serene and beautifully located Buddhist sanctuaries in Vung Tau, nestled on the scenic slopes of Mount Nho facing Pineapple Beach (Bai Dua). Constructed between 1969 and 1974, it is famed for housing a colossal 12-meter-long reclining pink granite Buddha entering Parinirvana. Its courtyard showcases a towering 21-meter ceramic-tiled flagpole and an intricately sculpted Prajna dragon boat.
