Hai Van Gate

Approx. 28–30 km North from the city center (At the summit of Hai Van Pass, ~500m elevation). Perched at an elevation of nearly 500 meters at the summit of Hai Van Pass, Hai Van Gate is a historic military fortress built in 1826 during the Nguyen Dynasty. Historically dubbed "The World's Most Heroic Gateway," the site features restored brick citadel gates and offers magnificent 360-degree views overlooking Lang Co Bay to the north and Da Nang Bay to the south.
