The Tianhou Temple of Sui Cheng Association, located in Cholon Chinatown, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, was built in 1761 (the 25th year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign in the Qing Dynasty). It is one of the oldest and largest Chinese temples in the area. It is dedicated to Mazu, the sea goddess (Tianhou Shengmu), and is famous for its exquisite Koi pottery decorations on the roof, stone carvings, and the huge incense towers hanging in the courtyard.
