Hello, my name is Yanmei. I am a fourth-year student in the Department of Oriental Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University. During my university years, I have worked diligently to build my professional knowledge. With the careful guidance of my professors, I have become one of the top students in my class. I have served as a class tutor for four years and completed three academic research papers. Beyond my studies, I have also gained rich work experience through introductions from teachers and classmates, primarily as a Chinese language teacher and part-time translator. Additionally, with the support and help of friends, I have had the opportunity to participate in several long-term “cute girl” projects: editing a Chinese-language blog; translating and promoting Chinese entertainment news and short videos; taking part in photo shoots and producing photo books; and engaging in modeling activities.

I have experience as a tour guide, leading Taiwanese visitors to explore Ho Chi Minh City’s attractions and sample its delicious cuisine. Although it was a rare opportunity, it left a deep impression on me and strengthened my dream of joining the tourism industry. Through interacting with travelers, I realized that tourism is not only sightseeing but also a collision and exchange of cultures. This experience made me recognize my passion for travel and my eagerness for the future. Therefore, I plan to pursue a graduate degree in Tourism Management after I graduate from university to further enhance my professional knowledge and practical skills. I look forward to more opportunities to engage with the tourism industry, provide better service for visitors, and promote the propagation and development of local culture.
