Tour Overview

Have you ever wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the city just to listen to the wind quietly on the beach? This one-day trip to Vung Tau will take you starting from the beach in the early morning, visiting romantic viewing angles and century-old French buildings, climbing to the Jesus statue that symbolizes faith, and ending with a meal of local food and sunset coffee. This is not only a trip, but also a spiritual walk to re-experience the rhythm of life and the temperature of the land.

Travel Highlights

Qiantan

The foreshore, also known as "Tầm Dương Beach", is located between the mountain (Núi Lớn) and the hill (Núi Nhỏ), with a natural half-moon-shaped coastline. Viewed from a high place, the entire beach looks like a shining star embedded in the coast, which is amazing. This is not only a great place to watch the sunset, but also the best choice for strolling, taking photos and feeling the sea breeze.

The Big Jesus Statue (Tượng Chúa Kitô Vua) is one of the landmarks of Vung Tau

The big Jesus statue is the soul symbol of Vung Tau. This 32-meter-tall statue of Jesus with arms outstretched stands on top of 847 stone steps. Although the climb to the top is a bit challenging, it will be worth it when you stand on the shoulders of the Jesus statue and overlook the stunning views of the entire city and ocean. It’s not just a view, it’s a sense of awe and peace.

Food Time: In-depth local stomachs and daily life

The most soulful moment during a trip is a delicious local meal. We will go to the locals' favorite small restaurant to feast on grilled seafood, spicy and sour fish soup, crispy Vietnamese pancakes (bánh xèo), and the must-try seafood rice noodles and fish plate rice noodles. The fresh and sweet soup and the chewy texture will make you come back again and again. This is not just a meal, but a dialogue with the land and human relationships.
