Although the climb to the top is a bit challenging, it will be worth it when you stand on the shoulders of the Jesus statue and overlook the stunning views of the entire city and ocean. One-day slow travel in Vung Tau: a private date with sunshine, history and sea breeze
Depart from Ho Chi Minh City and take a comfortable bus to the beautiful coastal city of Vung Tau. Admire the southern rural scenery along the way, and embark on a rich cultural and natural exploration itinerary upon arrival.
First visit the Bạch Dinh, a historical building with French architectural style. This building left over from the colonial period served as the summer palace for the French governor and the Nguyen Dynasty royal family. Climb up to the top and overlook the beautiful bay scenery of the entire foreshore (Bãi Trước).
